This cottage was previously used by an old housekeeper of Hill House. It has been sympathetically modernised and now boast two comfortable bedrooms and living spaces. Furnished with warmth and style and decorated by a resident Artist with "objets d'art" discovered within the estate, the Housekeeper’s Cottage provides a cosy retreat in the Cotswolds. The cottage stands at the edge of its tranquil village. It’s position at the top of a ridge where the villages of Great Barrington, Great Rissington, Little Rissington and Wyck Rissington are located, affords it wonderful views across the Windrush Valley.
The Housekeeper’s Cottage has two bedrooms – one with a queen bed, one with two twin beds. There is a large bathroom which has a separate bath and shower. A well appointed living room and kitchen, a utilities room providing all necessary conveniences and facilities. There is also a boot room to help keep mud and dirt out of the indoor spaces.
A walled garden overlooking private woods and a dell provides a wonderful extended outdoor space to the cottage, ideal for the many days when the area basks in the sun.
